Here's an image from last year when I shot Lower Than Atlantis for a small local magazine. It was quite a dark set and flash wasn't permitted so I had to use a slightly slow shutter speed. I do like the effect it created here though.

Tried out my new 75-300mm lens whilst on walks. I find it comes in handy when shooting close ups of things I can't personally get close to. Here is a representation of autumn.

This image was from a project I did on my A level course. I was exploring the theme of contrasts and wanted to begin in the studio concentrating on simple visual forms such as black and white and incorporating that into portraiture. This was a starting point into developing my exam work further.


Just beginning my blog with a photo I took recently for personal work. We went on an adventure by the bridges in Gateshead, found this rather quiet place with an unused building and decided to do a shoot. This is one of the images that came from the shoot.
